Luna is a 13 year old bay mare Irish Sports Horse. She has hunted, evented to BE 90 level and competed British Dressage prelim level, with my teenage daughter all with success and usually coming home with a ribbon.
She does have arthritis in her hocks but she just needs a good warm up. However for this reason she needs a slightly less active life and would be great for riding club activities. She is a typical mare and can have her stroppy moments. My daughter rode her from age 12 and has moved onto a bigger horse, so Luna is becoming fat and bored and she is just “ticking over” and would love to compete again, she really enjoys it.
She is good to load, shoe, clip, can nap when hacking alone and occasionally spook but it is manageable. She can sometimes be hard to get in from the field but feed usually works! She is a very honest horse and loves both her flat work and jumping. Luna is at our private yard near Heddon-on-the-Wall which has a large arena with jumps.
Please call Gill on 07587 180413 if you would like to chat about her.
